Help dad get the blues

Feel the rhythm when you get the blues at the 2019 Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival.

Tickets are on sale and promoters say they would make a great Father's Day present.

“As a father, nothing is more important during the summer than making sure the whole family can make memories together doing things we love,” said David Gonella, festival executive director. “I love that the Roots and Blues Festival offers an amazing experience for everyone in the family. People don’t often know how family-friendly we really are – we are the perfect anchor event for a summer road trip.”

This year’s Festival lineup includes the sounds of the Jim Cuddy Band the beats of Ruthie Foster, and the great vibes by artists like the Sue Foley to the sweet stylings of groups like Mile Twelve.

The Festival’s Family Fun Zone is packed full of activities to keep every kid happy. Face painting, crafts, water balloons, sandboxes, bouncy houses and other activities will all be main stage for families.

The festival offers onsite daycare for children over three. Children can be dropped off for two-hour time periods for $20 per child.
