Driver hits truck, two homes

UPDATE: 9:30 p.m.

Residents are thankful no one was injured after a woman crashed her car into a pickup truck, a house, and then reversed into another home.

The bizarre incident unfolded just before 7 p.m. on Sunday on Logan Court.

One resident, who asked not to be named, says she was outside when she saw the driver aggressively go up a steep driveway, smash into a black truck and then put a four-foot dent into the wall.

“Then I saw her reverse and drive into her own house,” she tells Castanet. “It was terrifying, she was going so fast.”

Normally children are outside riding their bikes or colouring the sidewalk with chalk, according to the woman.

“Thankfully no kids were out,” she said.

RCMP were on scene and Castanet has inquired for more details but have not yet heard a response from police.
