Although, this development was defeated twice perhaps Mayor Basran can explain his decision to exercise his executive privilege to have this voted on again at last Monday's meeting?
It sounds a little "fishy". The prudent thing would be for the Mayor to respond and explain to all opposed of this development what his reasoning is. If he doesn't have the honesty and integrity to clarify his decision, then he should step down.
The Mayor and Council have approved several controversial issues over the past few months and it is quite clear that they are "not listening" to the people of Kelowna.
We need some answers.
