For the fourth year, Kelowna will be hosting a hip-hop culture festival at Stuart Park.
The Fresh Coast Festival is bringing musicians, artists and performers to the downtown park on July 20, in partnership with LMNO Productions Coast-to-Coast Foundation.
“Our mission is to inspire the youth through expression and bridge the different cultures through a healthy, safe community event,” the event organizer says in a press release.
While the event originally started as a breakdance competition, it has since expanded in to a “well-rounded hip hop culture festival.”
The free event will take place at the outdoor skating rink in Stuart Park on July 20.
