A Langley couple is $500,000 richer after matching all four Extra numbers in the Feb. 14 Daily Grand lottery draw.

Richard and Frances Laidlaw say a move may be in the works, along with some travel.

“This will change our lives a whole lot,” said Richard. “We were actually thinking about moving to Kelowna, and this makes it even more possible.”

“We are already so fortunate,” added Frances. “This money will help us go on a cruise, and maybe even visit Rome.”

The Laidlaws purchased their ticket at the Walnut Grove Town Pantry. 

“I didn’t believe it when Frances told me to look at the ticket,” said Richard. “We have always dreamed of upgrading our house.”
