A woman who brought a gun to an Abbotsford mall should have been under house arrest at the time.

Abbotsford Police arrested Danielle Rigdon on Monday after she was tracked by her electronic bracelet to Sevenoaks Shopping Centre.

During the arrest, police found a loaded handgun, drugs and cash in her handbag, CTV News reports.

Rigdon was being monitored for previous weapons charges in January.

She faces new charges including possession of a prohibited device dangerous to the public, and carrying a concealed weapon.
