With temperatures expected to hit the teens for the rest of the week, at least one Kelowna golf facility is busting out the drivers.
World Beat Family Driving Range on Old Vernon Road in Kelowna has decided to open its doors to winter-weary golfers. Robin called the Castanet newsroom to let us know they are now open for the season.
"We're gonna be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the rest of the season."
They didn't even need the heaters, it was so warm on Monday.
"It's beautiful, feels like 12 degrees right now, and the snow is melting – but if you hurry you actually get to hit golf balls into the snow."
The range will remain open for the rest of the season, weather permitting.
