Spring is finally here, so the Friends of the Summerland Ornamental Gardens are hosting their annual Seedy Saturday this week.

The event Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Summerland Alliance Church will see more than 25 vendors offer organic and non-GMO seeds and bedding plants.

“Bring your own seeds for sharing in the seed exchange; the Summerland Seed Library will also be there to serve anyone with a library card,” the event announcement reads. “Honey, cheese and other artisan food products will be featured, along with garden furniture and décor items.”

There will also be space and time to share stories with fellow gardeners, seek advice from a master gardener, and attend a workshop on growing edible plants in containers.
