The weather may not be good for those wishing for a white Christmas, but it couldn’t be any better for Burnco Rock Products Ready Mix.

That's because the West Kelowna company will be up bright and early Wednesday morning to pour the raft slab for ONE Water Street’s second condominium tower in downtown Kelowna.

“Weather is very favourable for us,” Burnco spokesperson Nevan Schmuland said Tuesday. “With it being late December and plus-six and sunny is what the forecast is calling for (Wednesday), no complaints on that.

"Maybe some people might complain that there’s not going to be any snow for Christmas, but in terms of what we’re looking for for concrete temperature and ambient temperature outside, it looks very favourable.”

Schmuland said the job would only be called off if it were -10 C or colder, so there is no concern.
