Vipers host Capitals

The Vernon Vipers will meet the Cowichan Valley Capitals tonight at Kal Tire Place North.

The contest will mark the first of two meetings between the BC Hockey League teams this season.

The Vipers are currently in sixth spot in the BCHL Interior Division with 33 points.

The Wenatchee Wild are tied for top spot in the division with the Merritt Centennials at 44 points.

However, the Penticton Vees have 43 points to round out the top three Interior Division teams.

The Cowichan Valley Capitals are sitting at the bottom of the Island Division with 21 points.

Prince George is at the top of the BCHL with the Spruce Kings amassing 49 points so far this season, but the Chilliwack Chiefs are only one point behind in the battle for league supremacy.
