Less than two months after it closed, Kelowna’s Greyhound site has sold to an undisclosed buyer for $5.25 million.

The property features a 9,228-square-foot building on two acres and is “perfectly poised for redevelopment/densification,” according to HM Commercial Group.

The site is located at the corner of Enterprise Way and Leckie Road, which is in the heart of Kelowna’s retail area. It is surrounded by stores like Walmart, Home Depot, Mark’s Work Warehouse, Michael’s, Home Outfitters, Canadian Tire, Safeway, Superstore and is located just one block from Orchard Park Mall.

Greyhound ceased operations in Western Canada on Oct. 31. The last bus pulled out of Kelowna’s Greyhound station at 5:30 p.m. on Halloween.

HM Commercial Group is licensed by Macdonald Realty Kelowna.
