The Penticton RCMP are turning to the public for help locating a missing man.

Jeremy Bauer, 40, was last seen by his father on Dec. 6 at his home in Penticton. His family says it is out of character for their son to be out of contact for so long.         

Bauer may be driving a 1980s tan/brown Dodge pickup. He has ties to Alberta and could be headed there.

He is described as Caucasian, brown hair, blue eyes, five-foot-nine, 177 pounds, with multiple tattoos on his neck, chest and arms.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
