Learn more about this year's Queen Silver Star contestants tomorrow night in Vernon.
Candidates for Queen Silver Star are taking part in the Excellence Program, which is for young women between the ages of 15-18 years who reside within the North Okanagan - Vernon, Coldstream, Lavington, Lumby and Armstrong.
As part of the Vernon Winter Carnival, candidates will take part in the Speech Competition Monday at the Schubert Centre.
All the young women will be presenting their individual speech to judges.
The event takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Admission to the event is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
