Glass Tiger join Hart tour

Someday, you'll get to see 1980s hitmakers Corey Hart and Glass Tiger on the same stage.

And that day is June 22 at Kelowna's Prospera Place – so Don't Forget (them) or they'll be gone.

Hart added the fellow Canadian rockers to his Never Surrender tour, his promoters announced Friday.

Tickets went on sale this morning at www.selectyourtickets.com.

The tour is Hart's first major arena tour across Canada since 1986. It kicks off in St. Johns, N.L. on May 31 (Hart's birthday) to coincide with the release of his new record, Dreaming Time Again.

Glass Tiger’s debut album, The Thin Red Line, set a record for being the fastest selling debut recording in Canadian history, going gold within weeks of its release. They've toured with the likes of Tina Turner, Journey and Roxette, and are still going strong 31 years later.

In fact, their latest album is titled 31. It was recorded in Nashville by fellow Canadian entertainer Johnny Reid.

The band includes original members Alan Frew on vocals and guitar, Sam Reid on keyboards, Al Connelly on guitar, and Wayne Parker on bass, along with longtime drummer Chris McNeill, who joined in 2000.
