Crews have cleaned up the scene of a collision at Benvoulin and K.L.O roads and things have resumed to normal.

ORIGINAL: 3:55 p.m.

Traffic is backed up after a collision at the busy intersection of Benvoulin and K.L.O. roads in Kelowna Tuesday afternoon.

A witness says the collision involved a truck pulling a trailer and a car.

Vehicle parts were strewn across the intersection. 

It's not yet clear what caused the collision or the extent of injuries involved. 

Drivers should take an alternate route if possible, as traffic is backlogged in the area.
