Playing piano with a goat

Chelsea Powrie

A unique sight cruised into downtown Kelowna Saturday night —  a blue pickup truck with a piano in the back, a goat standing atop the piano, and a young woman tickling the ivories.

Castanet reader Kellee Warren Duff was at Stuart Park across from City Hall around 6 p.m. when he witnessed a truck drive up, and a woman start playing the piano while her goat stood on it.

"She drew a small crowd of about six or seven," Duff said, adding that he asked her for her name and information but she didn't give it, saying she was just doing it to make people smile.

According to Duff, she played a few songs in the back of the truck with her goat and then moved on. Duff says she told him she is from Vernon, but declined to give her name.

Duff took a bit of video of the odd event, which he shared with Castanet.
