$50K in equipment stolen

Kelowna RCMP are asking for the public's help in identifying suspects involved in the theft of tens of thousands of dollars worth of equipment.

On Oct. 24, police received a report of an overnight break and enter at an industrial business on the 900 block of Crowley Avenue.

Security images show two masked suspects cut the padlock to a gated compound, where they loaded and removed several pieces of hydraulic equipment.

The stolen industrial items are valued at more than $50,000.

“Police have since obtained video surveillance footage from the impacted business, which shows the two masked suspects and the suspect vehicle, that appears to be a two-tone black Ford F-350, 4x4, Super Duty, long-box pickup,” said Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Const. Cory Hedrei at 250-762-3300, call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or leave a tip at www.crimestoppers.net.
