Oliver residents have voted for change.
Incumbent mayor Ron Hovanes has been ousted by newcomer and City of Kelowna staffer Martin Johansen.
He won with 879 votes over Hovanes’ 719.
Johansen will be joined by Larry Schwartzenberger (913), Dave Mattes (1,076), Petra Veintimilla (1,217) and Aimee Grice (889) around the council table.
Hovanes had been mayor since 2008, the longest tenure in the South Okanagan.
