A large section of BX Falls Trail in Vernon will close for several weeks.

The Regional District of North Okanagan will be closing the lower section of the trail including the Star Road parking area for sedimentation removal by the City of Vernon.

The trail will close down starting Tuesday, Sept. 25 for about three to four weeks.

The Tillicum Road parking lot and upper portions of the trail will remain open for public use.
