Silver object in the sky

Castanet has received another report and photos of an unexplained object in the sky.

Richard Boden took several photos of what appears to be a shiny object in the sky above Kelowna.

The pictures were taken in late July and although they are grainy when magnified, they appear to show a silver object hovering in a clear blue sky.

Boden tells Castanet, "the pictures are from a cell phone, and the objects were very high in the sky. It is fairly hard to see them, but the pictures were taken in fairly close succession and I believe it's the second image there are two objects, with my naked eye I could only see one and then in the very next picture taken seconds if not milliseconds later the second object is gone."

Boden says he watched the show for, "quite a while."

A survey released by Manitoba-based Ufology Researchon says there were 1,101 UFO sightings – an average of three a day – reported in Canada in 2017.

Quebec had the most sightings at 518. Nunavut had the fewest at two.

Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Edmonton topped the cities with the most UFO reports.

Some experts indicate the International Space Station can be seen from earth if the conditions are correct and that may explain this sighting.

There is a website which indicates the best viewing opportunities for the space station depending on where you are located.
