A local auto dealer brought 1,000 smiles to Vernon Jubilee Hospital – literally.

Bannister GM Vernon donated 1,000 Tim Hortons Smile Cookies to VJH Foundation to be distributed to staff and patients.

The donation brought life to the ‘Give a Smile, Get a Smile’ slogan of the annual Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign.

“The Smile Cookie promotion from Tim Hortons is a great way to give back to our community, and the Vernon Jubilee Hospital is a great place to give them out. We hope it brightens up everyone’s day,” said Brad Nakucyj, general sales manager for Bannister GM Vernon. “Bannister GM Vernon appreciates everything that VJH Foundation and the hospital does for our community and this is just a small way we can give back and say thank you. Make sure to visit your local Tims to go get a smile and give one too.”

“Everyone was so happy receiving cookies today. It really brought a smile to everyone’s face,” says Lisa Westermark, VJH Foundation executive director.

Smile Cookies are available for purchase at all Tim Hortons locations until Sept. 23.

All Smile Cookie proceeds from the local Tim Hortons are donated to VJH Foundation.
