CRIME:           THEFT FROM STORAGE CONTAINER

DATE:             September 18, 2018

RCMP FILE:   2018-58334

On September 18th a break and enter was reported from a steel container business located on Okanagan Highway in West Kelowna.  Suspects most likely cut a chain link fence in the back corner of the property to gain access to break into a container.  The thieves made off with two electric guitars and an amplifier worth approximately $2100.00.  One guitar was a brown and red copy of a Les Paul electric guitar while the other was a white and cream Stratocaster. The amp is a Gem Sound TR-120 speaker.

CRIME:          VEHICLE THEFTS

DATE:            September 17, 2018

RCMP FILE:  018-57958 and 2018-58006

Two overnight vehicle thefts were reported from the Lakeview Heights area of West Kelowna on the morning of September 17th.    A black 2017 Hyundai Sante Fe with a VIN of 5XYZUDLB9HG411788 and BC license plate number 348RTW was taken from a driveway on Tomat Avenue.  The second vehicle, a four door grey 2014 Jeep Wrangler, was taken from a driveway on Lucinde Road.  The Jeep’s VIN is 1C4BJWEG2EL109533 and the BC license plate number is 119TVT.
