UPDATE: 9 p.m.

A passing motorist says the collision earlier Tuesday on Highway 6 in Lavington was only a "small fender bender," and traffic was rerouted to give a tow truck ample room to work. 

The crash occurred earlier Tuesday afternoon, and the person at the scene says both people involved were out of their cars and appeared uninjured. 

Traffic appears to be flowing smoothly along Highway 6 Tuesday night.

Castanet has received reports of an accident in Lavington.

A post on the Facebook page Around the Block Lumby said Highway 6 is closed near the Kenkraft RV dealership and that traffic is being rerouted along Buchanan and Brewer roads.
