Fire crews have quickly gained progress on a small wildfire burning west of Summerland.
The Bear Paw Creek wildfire, about five hectares in size, is now 100 per cent machine guarded with a hose line around 50 per cent of it.
"Four personnel worked the fire overnight and today 14 personnel are on site with a helicopter and equipment," the BC Wildfire Service said in an online update.
The blaze began on Friday evening about 11 kilometres west of Summerland, just off of Princeton-Summerland Road. The wildfire service advised it would be highly visible from nearby areas.
