Arr, it's Pirate Pak Day!

Madison Erhardt

Arr, mateys ... today be Pirate Pak Day, so head on over to White Spot.

The annual event raises money to send sick and disabled kids to Zajac Ranch, just outside of Langley.

The iconic pirate-themed meals are available for everyone. And $2 from each sale helps send a kid to camp for a week.

"This is our ninth season so we are very proud to be able to contribute to a cause that is in our local province. Anything we can do to help children experience a great week of kayaking and horseback riding and water sports, it's something we are really interested in doing," said Kelowna White Spot manager Brad Kary.

All hands are on deck for one of the restaurant's busiest days of the year.

"It's for sure a super busy day for us, we are fully staffed," Kary said. "I expect we will have upwards of 1,200 to 1,500 guests today."

The annual event has raised more than $650,000 for Zajac Ranch over the past six years.
