A large portion of Kelowna's Waterfront Park will be closed to the general public on Tuesday to make way for an outdoor concert.

In order to accommodate a concert by The Bahamas on the Island Stage, the island stage, lakefront promenade and the south end of Tugboat Beach will be closed to ticket holders only beginning at 3 p.m.

The north end of Tugboat Beach will remain accessible from Rotary Marsh Park off Sunset Drive.

With the number of people expected for the concert, the city is suggesting people use active transportation options, including walking, biking or carpooling.
