A portion of Dilworth Drive between Leckie Road and Omineca Place will be closed to traffic beginning Monday, July 16 while crews make repairs to the bridge, and other works, as part of the Okanagan Rail Trail.

Repairs include replacing the bridge deck with concrete, waterproofing and concrete abutment repairs.

Motorists are asked to use alternate routes, including Glenmore and Summit drives.

Construction is expected to be complete Aug. 10.

The city says work must be done now due to provincial regulatory requirements around working near fish-bearing streams.
