Return of the dragon

A pet dragon broke free from its home and went for a stroll in Westbank, Tuesday.

Carianne Anderson spotted the creature crawling around at Jubilee Park just after 1 p.m.

Anderson and her son were in their pool when they saw something move.

“The blue leash is what caught my eye,” she said.

They brought the lizard inside and posted a picture of the critter on the Mamas for Mamas Facebook group.

She said her son was excited to see the lizard and checked on it in the bathtub every half hour.

By 4:30 p.m. the owners, who live on the next street over, had contacted Anderson and ended the little guy’s adventure.
