A Victoria man faces 29 charges after the seizure of drugs, weapons and counterfeit cash.
The man was arrested Friday in Esquimalt for alleged money fraud after a business alerted police to the counterfeit currency.
When confronted by police, the man pulled out a knife, but was safely disarmed.
A search revealed the suspect was in possession of five knives, a baton, bear spray, illegal drugs, a replica handgun and more than $7,000 in counterfeit cash.
Police say the man is linked to at least two more frauds in the Greater Victoria area.
