A coyote has been destroyed after it attacked a boy in Burnaby, Tuesday.
Conservation officers shot the animal after it attacked the child, believed to be as young as three.
The incident happened shortly after 5 p.m. in the Sperling-Broadway area.
The extent of the boy's injuries is not known.
