A damaged mobility scooter at the intersection of Gordon Drive and Harvey Avenue.

A mobility scooter appears to be have been involved in a crash near the southbound lanes of Highway 97 near Gordon Drive.

While it's unclear how the collision occurred, the damaged orange scooter was sitting off the road just before noon on Wednesday.

The Kelowna Fire Department and an ambulance attended the scene, but the condition of those involved is unknown.
