Held at gunpoint

Two people were allegedly robbed while being held at gunpoint last Saturday.

Chase RCMP responded to a call on March 17 at about 6 p.m. after a report of two men carrying guns in the 1000 block of Skwlax Subdivision Road in Lee Creek.

The men apparently stopped a Silver Dodge Caravan and held the everyone inside at gunpoint while stealing items from the van.

Shortly after, the suspects entered a grey SUV and fled the area at a high speed.

The occupants of the van got back in their vehicle and also left the area before police arrived on scene.

While police were en route the incident they were notified of another driver who had been stopped by the grey SUV with flashing blue lights.

A man apparently got out of the SUV carrying a gun and walked up to the driver.

After seeing the occupants the man carrying the gun said it was the wrong vehicle and returned to the SUV.

Police officers from the Chase, Salmon Arm and Kamloops Detachments responded to the incidents.

The suspects and victims have yet to be located.
