A pop-up wedding?

A pop-up wedding, drag performers and live music — and that's just a taste of the lineup.

It's called Ipseity, and it's the opening party for the Penticton Gallery's upcoming spring exhibition on gender fluidity.

The all-ages, licensed event will take place Saturday March 24 at the gallery, featuring refreshments from Naramata Bench wineries and Cannery Brewing.

The organizers are teasing that "Penticton royalty" will be there to tie the knot in a pop-up wedding, calling it "an exciting surprise."

Also featured will be acclaimed Canadian musician Rae Spoon, East Vancouver rockers Parlour Panther, A Raven Called Crow, DJ Shakes/Non-Stop Productions and a drag show featuring premier Okanagan drag performers.

Doors will open at 7:30, and tickets are $10 or pay-what-you-can and are sold only at the door.
