Vipers on to the next round

The Vernon Vipers are moving on to the next round of the BCHL playoffs after sweeping the Salmon Arm Silverbacks 4-0 in their best of seven series. 

Vernon clinched the series after a 1-0 win Wednesday night. 

Niko Karamanis scored the only goal of the game in overtime.

The next round begins March 16, when the Vipers play host to the Wenatchee Wild at Kal Tire Place.

Wenatchee have the top two scorers in these playoffs: Jasper Weatherby (10) and Cooper Zech (9), however, sitting third is Vernon's Derek Brown (8).
