More than 1,500 athletes from around the province are on their way to Kamloops to compete in the 2018 B.C. Winter Games.
The games run Feb. 22-25 and will feature sports ranging from archery to speed skating.
The Games will include participants from across B.C. in 19 sports, 247 officials, 1,519 athletes, 382 coaches, for a total of 2,148 participants.
Events will take place at 11 facilities in Kamloops, Stake Lake stadium and Sun Peaks Resort.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Sandman Centre.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the B.C. Games, the first of which were held in Vernon.
