Repairs have been completed on a water pressure reducing station in the Casa Loma Area of West Kelowna.

Lakeview Heights and Casa Loma Residents may experience discolouration in their water for the next few hours due to the pressure changes that have occurred within the system throughout the day.

In the meantime, residents should run the cold tap until it runs clear.

Emergency water system repairs are underway in the Casa Loma area of West Kelowna.

City crews are repairing a mechanical failure impacting a water pressure reducing station.

Residents on public water service may have experienced high water pressure, but crews have been able to control the pressure to an appropriate level.

This mechanical failure does not affect users of the private water system in the Casa Loma area.

The work is expected to be complete today.
