Santa’s Little Helpers surprised the residents living at Chartwell Carrington Place Retirement Residence in Vernon on Sunday.

On Nov. 17 a group of children aged 5 to 15 were dressed as Santa’s Little Helpers, while they handed out cupcakes, chocolates and flowers to the elderly. 

About 150 residents listened to the children sing Christmas carols, while they enjoyed their lunch.

The event follows a recent gift giving in the SilverStar village where passholders were surprised with a range of gifts ranging from barbeques, gift cards, houseboat vacations and more.

SilverStar Mountain Resort is celebrating its 60th anniversary, with over ‘60 Days of Giveaways.’
