Pedestrians hit at xwalk

Kelowna Fire Rescue confirms that a crew was called to attend an incident involving two pedestrians on the 2300 block of Baron Road Saturday at 6:20 p.m.

No other details were released.


ORIGINAL STORY: 8:27 p.m. Saturday

A male pedestrian was reportedly struck at a crosswalk in Kelowna, at Underhill Street and Baron Road, Saturday evening.

The incident occurred just before 6:30 p.m.

A witness on scene said the person struck appeared to sustain serious injuries.

"The pedestrian is on the ground and hasn't moved in inch. Looks like he's out cold," the witness said in an email.

Further details of the accident are not yet available.
