White supremacist posters are raising eyebrows after being posted outside a Burnaby library.

“These flyers have no place in Canadian cities where we celebrate diversity and acceptance,” Avi Benlolo of the Friends of Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies said Thursday.

“The storm has arrived. Where will you seek shelter?” say the posters promoting Stormfront, a self-described white nationalist community of “racial realists and idealists."

They include a “White Pride Worldwide” logo.

"It’s up to the community to be vigilant in countering attempts by such groups to recruit people to their brand of intolerance and increase their visibility," said Benlolo.

Similar posters have shown up in Vancouver, Victoria, Richmond and Abbotsford over the past year.

RCMP have been contacted about Wednesday’s incident in Burnaby.
