A tribute to female rockers is happening in Vernon next week.

A group of Okanagan-based musicians will perform the hits of Janis Joplin, Tina Turner, Alanis Morissette and Pat Benatar during a rock and roll concert at the Vernon Performing Arts Centre.

“It's an all-star crew from the Valley,” said Garry Grosso, a rhythm guitarist now living in Coldstream. “We have members from Armstrong all the way to Summerland.”

The band is fronted by Cat Wells who was already performing some of these numbers when she decided to “morph it into a bigger show,” Grosso said.

Wells is joined by Vicky Nish and Niki Martinus and backed by Cam Ward, Chris Ferguson, Leo Ilomen Jr., Randy Randle and Grosso.

The show takes place Thursday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online.
