Ranch GM Glen Taylor has been hurt in a workplace accident.

The general manager of Historic O'Keefe Ranch has been hurt in a workplace accident at the ranch, according to officials with the District of Coldstream and O'Keefe Ranch.

Taylor was flown to Vancouver last week for treatment of his injuries at Vancouver General Hospital and was expected to remain there for some time. 

Taylor, who is also a member of Coldstream council, joined the O’Keefe Ranch and Interior Heritage Society in 2012 as the general manager.

Friends have expressed dismay over the accident in the midst of the ranch's largest annual fundraising event, its popular 'Field of Screams' corn maze which takes place until Oct. 28, just before Halloween.
