A fire in a three-storey building in Vancouver Sunday night gutted a business and two homes in the building.

The fire was reported about 10 p.m. on West Broadway, near Manitoba Street. Flames could be seen shooting from the roof.

Firefighters kept the fire from spreading to neighbouring buildings.

"We have a couple of big structures both to the east and to the west of the structure, and there was no damage to either one of those," Deputy Chief Brian Godlonton told CTV. 

Two vehicles in the alley behind the building also burned.

No injuries were reported in the blaze.

It’s not yet known how the fire started.
