Surrey RCMP are investigating a case of shots fired in the Newton area overnight.
Police converged on the 6100 block of 150th Street just after 10 p.m. Thursday after a report of gunfire.
No victims were located.
Officers canvassed the neighbourhood and were speaking with witnesses to obtain further information.
Surrey has been plagued with gunfire for more than a year as an ongoing turf war plays out between rival drug gangs.
Two vehicles, a white pickup and a dark-coloured sedan were seen stopped and the drivers speaking to each other, when a dark SUV pulled up and shots were fired at the other two vehicles. The SUV was last seen heading south on 150th St.
