A relatively small development proposal is causing a big stir in the South Pandosy neighbourhood where it might one day sit.

Worman Resources Inc. has asked Kelowna city council to rezone a Gore Street property, to allow a multi-family development on a lot previously occupied by a single home.

Residents who live near the proposed project descended on a July 25 public hearing, asking council to reconsider the project.

Their passionate arguments were, in the end, mostly futile.
