A dump truck pulled down a pedestrian overpass near Lougheed Highway in Burnaby, Wednesday.

Crews were working to clear debris from Beaverbrook Drive after the 11 a.m. crash.

The truck's box was elevated when it smashed into the overpass, assistant fire chief Greg Young told CTV.

Luckily, no one was on the bridge, and there were no other vehicles nearby at the time. The truck driver was uninjured. 

The City of Burnaby said cleanup is expected to continue into tonight.
