Police are looking for the driver of a silver or grey import sedan that struck a pedestrian and then took off, Sunday evening in Surrey.
About 5:40 p.m., RCMP responded to 911 calls that a woman had been struck on the 10200 block of 149th Ave., in the Guildford area.
The suspect vehicle was last seen heading west with two male occupants.
Passers-by came to the aid of the victim until paramedics could take the 47 year old Surrey resident to hospital. She suffered serious head and leg injuries, and is in stable condition.
Police are seeking the public's assistance to locate the suspect vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or CrimeStoppers.
