I believe this year’s lake flooding has actually helped the Boyd’s Auto Body Father’s day car show. As much as I like City Park, this event has shown that it has out grown city park. Please do not go back to City Park.
I give a big thank you to Boyd’s and all the business that participated in a successful 2017 Boyd’s Father’s day car show. The location worked better than City Park because there was more space for cars and food vendors. Parking is always going to be an issue with a successful event such as this, but I saw the location being better that City Park.
Everyone has time to plan for next year’s car show. Learn from the public feedback and I believe you can have an even better show in 2018!
To the City of Kelowna, I ask that you help where you can to aid in this successful event and make it better in 2018. To the business of McCurdy Corner, I know your business lost parking stalls. I hope that you will support this wonderful event next year by allowing the visitors to use your parking stalls.
