Mayor and Council of Kelowna:
Your decision to not allow store front marijuana dispensaries, indicating to the public they are illegal, and yes they are according to the federal governments directions and laws, is mind boggling.
Yet, Mayor and Council, the federal government, Conservatives and the Liberals, pay for medical marijuana to a few thousand veterans who suffer with PTSD. Yes! Pay for the prescriptions for marijuana. And now tell me what the veterans who live in Kelowna and who suffer with PTSD, who placed their lives on the line for you, and all other citizens, now you put their lives in danger and the lives of their families?
Veterans, who amount to over 160 personnel, have committed suicide, have taken the lives of their loved ones too because governments like yourselves have taken an irresponsible decision which stops them from getting the help they need to survive. You have no balls to support your citizens and place the blame on the Feds.
None of the veterans I know of said ‘I wont go to war and support the voting public’, yet you turned your backs on them and the rest of the citizens who suffer from trauma.
