Robin Hood flour recall

A risk of E. coli contamination has prompted the recall of "original" style Robin Hood All Purpose Flour.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced the recall Tuesday morning.

The agency says people should not consume the product in 10-kilogram packages.

Lot codes containing BB/MA 2018, AL 17 and 6 291 548 are potentially affected.

Tuesday's recall was triggered by findings by the CFIA during its investigation into a food-borne illness outbreak.

The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.

There has been one reported case of illness as a result of consuming the product.

If you get sick as a result of consuming the product, you are advised to see a doctor.
