The driver of an SUV crashed into a Kelowna auto parts store on Wednesday.

Police and firefighters arrived on scene at Spall Road and Springfield Road just after 4:30 p.m.

Firefighters on scene said the female driver claimed to put the vehicle in park, but it continued to move forward into the building.

A window was broken, but officers said no one was injured in the incident.

Just an hour later, there were unconfirmed reports that a man, believed to be in his twenties, was struck by a pickup at the same location, about 5:30 p.m.

It's not clear if the incidents are related.
